Ugly Betty Gets A Happy Ending (Hopefully)

Being a long time fan of Ugly Betty I along with many others surely mourned on the day ABC announced they were cancelling our beloved show. Now with recent news of Betty's episode order being cut down from 22 to 20, fans are worried whether the show could hurriedly give Betty her happy ending.

With 7 episodes left before the series finale could the writers of Ugly Betty be frantically trying to give any form of closure for the fans? You bet they are! But not without some fan disappointment in the mix. Executive producer and head writer Silvio Horta recently sat down and spilled the beans on Ugly Betty's series finale, but don't worry not everything was spilled!

One fact that Horta mentioned which has been a long time a coming was Betty finally losing her braces near the finale. Which could we all have a collective "finally!" after three years of having those things on Betty's teeth must be pretty darn straight or pretty darn broken!

One of the many possibilities we could be seeing in the Ugly Betty finale could be quite the surprise! Betty leaving MODE magazine? “We may take her away from Mode,” says Horta. “We’re going to see how that impacts the people she works with as well as her family.” Could you imagine Betty anywhere other than MODE? Me either but we'll have to wait and see.

This shouldn't comes as a surprise. Justin may just may finally come out, which all in all would be a very tender and sweet moment because if anything we know Hilda would understand and accept him, and I've loved the back story between Marc and Justin as his kinda gay mentor.

What series finale doesn't end with a celebration!? New reports have surfaced that a major character wedding would take place and it could be just about anyone! My guesses? Hilda and Bobby or Wilhelmina and Connor.

Who will get the girl? Well that's a tough one! There have been plenty of rumours the past couple of months about the possibility of returning roles. Either way who ever ends up with Betty, if any! Shippers out there will be disappointed. Whether its the Hetty, Getty, Metty or Detty fans its going to be an all out war. And with the current rumours of Chris Gorham (Henry) making a possible return and Ugly Betty sticking to its original Colombian ending where Betty ends up with Daniel, there will be few survivors.

Overall I hope for a pleasing ending to this sweet story, Ugly Betty truly has meant a lot to me including the 4 million that tune in every week, so a big thank you should go out to all the fans that have stuck by with the little show that could. And please God could someone get Vanessa William's that darn Emmy Award now!
